Superior Scribblers

If I would have gotten this Award from anyone other than Michael, he would have gotten it from me. It is an honor to get this from such a powerful writer such as him, although I don't think I match up too well in quality with his other choices.

That being said, my choices may seem a little diverse, but are truly wonderful writers in their own way. They deserve this Award much more than me in my opinion and it makes me feel that much better to be the one giving it to them.

Here are the rules for the winners:

  • Each Superior Scribbler must in turn pass The Award on to 5 most deserving Bloggy Friends.
  • Each Superior Scribbler must link to the author & the name of the blog he/she has received The Award.
  • Each Superior Scribbler must display The Award on his/her blog, and link to This Post, which explains The Award.
  • Each Blogger who wins The Superior Scribbler Award must visit this post and add his/her name to the Mr. Linky List. That way, we'll be able to keep up-to-date on everyone who receives This Prestigious Honor!
  • Each Superior Scribbler must post these rules on his/her blog.
LESLIE at MY MOMMY'S PLACE
Sure she is my wife and is the main reason that I started this blog, but she also is an extremely talented writer. The way she expresses the stories of our family - stories that I am well familiar with - makes them sound fresh and new. She speaks to you like she is right there in person, having a fun conversation about her daily experiences - this is what makes her such a fun read - and a wonderful wife.

SOUL LIKE A SPIDER
Very few people can take a simple event and send you on a wonderful journey to get you there, but Deanna is one of them. I found her site through Michael's blogroll and have been hooked ever since. She has such a unique writing style that flows so smoothly that you become enveloped in her words and transformed by her prose.

REFLECTIONS AND SOLACE
Another blog from Michael's recommendation and well worth the read. The way she describes things are different from the norm and while this may be due to her residing in Nth Queensland, when she talks about something, you WANT to go on Wikipedia and check it out. I never was remotely interested in Cricket until she wrote about it - now I am desperately looking for it on my DirecTV.

JEN FROM A2EATWRITE
This blog has probably already been given this award, and if she hasn't then she does now. An excellent writer who not only writes about everyday things, but also powerful messages for causes that she believes in. And I have yet to read a "What's Cooking Wednesday" without my mouth salivating by the end at the yummy goodness she describes.

ZANTHERA DEGORE
I am giving this award to Z not so much for her blog, but for the short stories and the excerpts of her novel that I have been privileged to read. A tremendous author of the paranormal and the dark, she is the kind of writer you want to read on a cold and stormy night with a warm drink in one hand and a blunt object to fend off the undead with the other. I give her this award with hopes that she will make more of her work accessible to us.

Congrats to all of you. Each of you deserve it!

Thank you and when you put it that way I think I will be keeping this pen name for sure! It's fits so well.

Gobsmacked!!
Something such as this coming from someone I admire enormously has me quite stuck for words other than a hearty thank you!

Even though "Mr. Linky" sounds like a total pedophile, I am happy to see that you posted your award.
To be honest, Grimm, you don't give yourself enough credit.
Writing is not about big words and deep thoughts, it's about connecting with people. That, my dear friend, is what you do . . . with almost every post.
I just do it a bit differently. I thank you for such a glowing compliment but in the scheme of things, we're not all that different.
Congrats dude, you so deserved this award

Aw thanks for the award, honey! But if you're trying to get laid, you don't have to work this hard at it.

I'm so behind, Grimm! Thanks SO much - I'm truly honored. I'm also excited to read a couple of folks I haven't seen. I certainly know Leslie's fine writing. ;-)
